Information for Contributors

Thailand Statistician is a peer-reviewed journal of Thai Statistical Association, published twice a year in January and July. Research papers of general interest in Statistics and related fields are welcome for publication. Authors need not be members of Thai Statistical Association, they may come from either inside or outside Thailand. Papers submitted for publication should consist of the following sections : Title, Author Names and Address, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), and References. Papers should be as concise as possible. Manuscript may be written in English or Thai. Papers written in Thai must have abstract in English as well. Pictures or graphs (if any) should be of good quality and sharp. Only references cited in the main text are to be listed in the references section, on alphabatical system. Three copies of the manuscript and an electronic copy on a diskette (preferably formatted using : Microsoft Word for Windows) should be submitted to the Editor, Thailand Statistician, Department os Statistics, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. Papers which have been published previously should not be submitted. The Editor will send all papers submitted to appointed reviewers for refereeing. The final decision on any paper submitted rests with the Editor who is aides by referees and Editorial Board. A copy of the journal and twenty five reprints of each paper are provided on free of charge to author for correspondence. Abstracts of all papers are available at our Thai Statistical Association website : http://statassoc.acc.chula.ac.th
